right now im running trick flow twisted wedges that have a good amount of port work done and a LOT shaved off em.
a stock shortblock (with the exception of a high pressure oil pump)

and an f-cam.
now ive done all i can to really make this combo work the way i want. ive changed out the springs and timing stop in the distributor and have even changed the cam timing a couple times, (clocked lower timing gear, i can get up to 8* either way, right now its a 0 because thats what ive found to run the best)
but it still seems to have a dead spot. like it doesnt start pulling "hard" until about 4300 and it stops around 6200. it just doesnt have much low end. altho it runs like a raped ape with a 150 shot. lol.
im looking for a something thatll give me a larger power band and maybe a little bit more low end torque, and still be good for nitrous. ive considered going solid roller and ill do it if thats where the most gains will come from. but id prefer not to take my heads off again
