Okay, so I have heard Army, Air Force, and Marines I believe from NC, so I guess I must stand up and represent the "GREATEST NAVY IN THE WORLD"!!!

I am an 18-year Naval Officer now, but did my first 13 Enlisted up to E-7 (or Chief as we like to be called). I am an Electronics Material Officer, which for non-Navy types is like the equivalent of a Director for Telecommunications and Information Systems in the real world. I grew up a Data Systems and Electronics Technician though. And, I only have 5 years til retirement, LOL. I'm 38, and already a grandfather of two. But my kids are both 18, hence the mid-life crises with the Stang and Bimmer. Never got to have a rod at 17 as a daddy, so making up for it now. AND I CAN AFFORD IT NOW, HAHAHAHA!!!

That was funny, Justin, NOT!!!!

No, I am in Virginia Beach. Been to Charleston though. Loved it. Actually I think I have been to every Navy town in the US, except Kings Bay, GA. In my job now, I inspect all surface ships all over the place, so I see plenty of other towns. Kind of worse than being attached to a ship. More travel.
