I know this is a silly question. I know the difference between them but I'm just curious what it means. I thought HIGH OUTPUT but not sure

firing order is different, the ho is 1,3,7,2,6,5,4,8 where as the 302 1,5,4,2,6,3,7,8, cams are ground different

Hahaha, I don't have a 302 yet... If you see my sig you will notice I got a POS 4 banger but I am in the market and doing alot of research. i guessed High Output cause well it has a higher output Hopefully by next year I will have all the mods for the 302 swap and I can hang out here. I would imagine you guys don't associate with us 2.3 people

Was one my self, If you are doing a swap see if you can get a wrecked 5.0 car to pull the parts from your self it's nice to have all the parts you need at your finger tips. good luck

also the regular 302 has a 2 bolt main the ho has a 4 or maybe thats the differnce between the ho and cobra

Ya i will be getting a donar car cause of all the parts needed to do a PROPER swap. If I'm going to go as far as put a new engine in, it makes sense to make my LX a GT as possible. Ya I know I can buy a GT but its funner.

gonna take all the ground effects from a GT and add them to your car?? damn... you're gonna be doin alot of work there... painting and stuff... i'd save and buy some RIMS!

BOSS 302 = four-bolt-mains
All other production 302s = two-bolt-mains

what year boss 302 cam with a four bolt main, ive been searching for a four bolt main ford block and havent been successful, even the 460s ive found were two bolt mains.
