What engine is this from...

Oh the valve covers it says 1G804AA 62336041 . It also says made in 2001. What's weird is ... the Egr tube is on the left exhaust manifold (looking at the front of the engine). Can anyone help me out? Thanks.

62336041 almost sounds like a GM casting #.

also those numbers were on the valve covers.

yep... it saleen IV supercharger on top. also have the tremec and centerforce behind that. romeo 2v? 6 bolt crank though? i tried to put the egr tube on and it was on the wrong exhaust manifold. i'm lost

Romeo's have 6 bolt cranks and Windsors 8. if you have a 99 or 00 GT, that would explain the differences. it will bolt up into your car. you just may need to make some minor adjustments.

so it's from a 99+ gt? what adjustment will i have to make? which egr tube should i buy or should i just block it off?

if the head says 2001, it's from a 2001. just block off the EGR, it's not important anyway.

ok i'll block it off... so then block off the egr valve stop on the supercharger too? if i do that.. then i don't need the egr vacuum control, pcv valve, vapor balve, egr pressure valve right? i don't need any of that. i'll have a check engine light but that's no big deal. where can i get the block off's for the egr tube and valve? or do I just have to machine some myself by using the egr gasket as a layout? eric (thanks.. you've been a lot of help.. right, check www.modulardepot.com. some people over there did the EGR delete.

OK.. cool thanks alot. I had saleen flash my computer already.. and I have the same set up as the s281s stock. 30# injectors... ect. Thats the only tune i'll need right?

yes, but i don't know if you will get a error code because of the EGR.

I think you will get a CEL for the blocked EGR, but you can have it shut off in the ECU like the rear O2s.

You can have your chip reburned and have the code shut off, just like some people do when they have no cats.
