its the line on the left......on the egr spacer? is this a fuel line? im new to 5.0 efi im an old carb lover but am learning, anyway car wouldnt start today batt was dead.Ive been having low volt problems just the last day or so.I noticed yesterday the heater picked up and lights got brighter when i hit the gas so i turrned off my PIAA lights, but have an unknown electric fan.Ive read with just the electric fan i need the 3g alternato upgrade? what it the 3g?Should i do that or get a good aftermarket brand? Heck im not even running underdrive pullies yet.....ok back o the reason for the pic and the long explanation....the line was spurting a thin stream out of the hose at high rpm.I was revving it up to help charge better and noticed it.should i get it fixed asap? could this be a reason for the sudden electrical problems?

I dont have a magnifying glass but it looks like the EGR coolant line. You can replace the hose. Some folks (not me) delete those coolant lines - that would be another option for you.

Your stock alt is a 2G. A 3G came on 94-95's Mustangs (and other Fords). It has double the output of a 2G. You can use a true OEM 3G or an aftermarket one - totally your choice. Be sure to read the sticky thread on doing the upgrade - you need to upgrade some cable and clearance a bracket (no biggie).

Parts stores can dynamically test your charging system or you can take your alt in for a bench test. Be sure that you're doing all your testing with a DMM (not interpolating the inaccurate stock gauge).

Good luck.

Well, your finger is pointing to a vacuum hose that goes to the EGR valve.

Yes however vacuum hoses don't typical squirt fluid.

EGR coolant hose. I beleive you just have to buy some thin coolant line and bend it yourseld. I don't think that part comes premolded
