what is the hole ( with oil in it ) on top of block in back of lower intake on 1989 5.0 w/ gt40 intake?
no, the other hole IN BACK of lower intake on flat surfaceProbably asking about the PCV hole in the back of the block that the wire mesh plug/filter goes in.
The threaded hole? Not sure, maybe for ground strap?what is hole?

I can see the confusing nature of the question.what is the hole ( with oil in it ) on top of block in back of lower intake on 1989 5.0 w/ gt40 intake?
NO, did you see my pic? this is visible when intake is off. behind where PCV outlet is.You mean at the back of the lifter valley. That hole allowed oil galleries to be drilled in the block when it was manufactured. That's why there's a plug in it. the plug has oil in it because it's exposed to engine oil...
That would in the intake manifold, not the engine block.
Again, I see two 'holes' to further confuse things, I suppose you have a suitable answer now?NO, did you see my pic? this is visible when intake is off. behind where PCV outlet is.
Anywhere on either side of the block, I used an bolt hole on the back of each head. The ls knock sensors work well just have to use an online Hz calculator based on bore size.Where are you mounting the sensor?
