What size oil filter?

Ok Im changing my oil and I got a Fram PH16. is that the right size? Cause the one on there is like twice as long.

PH16 is a dodge filter if i remember right. if you want fram its a PH8A but i like to use the motorcraft filter which is a FL1A

The FRAM part # is PH8A.

I would recommend a different filter entirely, but that debate is for another thread, another time.

I was at walmart and I decided to change my oil and that what the little computer told me to get, but Im going to get a Motocraft

yep, that would be a long thread. ph8a is an almost universal ford filter. it fits just about all ford v8s.

i suggest motorcraft fl1a

Fram is garbage.Get a Motorcraft FL1A or even a Purolator oil filter.

Purolators are ****ing dirt cheap and seem to work well, so I always use them.

ph16 is a dodge 4.7L filter and i wouldnt recomend a fram use a napa or a wix filter

Purolator also makes the Motorcraft FL1A for Ford.

Same thing.

I use the Napa Gold 1515 and it is made by Wix.
