what would you pay for this 94 GT?

show him that the KBB value is 6100, and then offer him 7500, cuz to me 7500 would be worth it being it only has 60k miles and had some stuff done to it and has some body work done. if that doesn't work tell him no, then call him back from a diff number and pretend ur someone else and offer the same amount to see if he budges..lol, to me 7500 would be around a decent price for the car, just check and make sure it is in great condidtion. good luck!

$9000 is a bit high, I would think. Here is what you run into: when you mod a car, you are making it "yours". It can run into LOTS of money. In the end, unless the seller finds someone who belives that the car as it sits is just the way, or on the way to being the car they want, they won't recoup thier money, at least not all of it. IF what has been done to the car already is what you are looking to do, then you have to decide how much you are willing to pay to get a jump start on building the car of your dreams.

My wife and I have had several mustangs, we belive the one we have now will be with us a long time, so we are modding it to exactly the car we want. We bought it last fall for $4000, with a couple of problems, and have worked on it since, first, fixing problems, then modding. We know that very rarely will you get back all the cost of modding a car. I say rarely, because we built a 351 '83 a couple years ago and some kid walked up to us at a cruise and offered more than we had in it, cash, on the spot. sold.

And of course you can always offer less than they are asking, and maybe even less than you are willing to pay. They can talk you back up some, you can pay what YOU think its worth.

just my 2 cents.. or maybe a few pennies more..

oh, and remember, they made millions of mustangs, you don't have to buy the first one you come across...

if it's what u are looking for and it is good condition and u have the cash i say go for it. good luck

If KBB is 6100, I would offer $6500 plus 1/2 of what the wheels cost new, if theyre in good shape.

If you think the wheels are worth 1200 new, offer 7100 (6500 +600)

Or else, offer him $6500, let him keep the rims and you buy your own damn wheels.

REMEMBER...If the car has been modded, you dont know what it's been through.

i paid 9 for mine 2 years ago...it had 47k on the clock and was stocker than stock...and the only reason i paid that for it was because for whatever reason Stangs sell at a premuim up here in NY, and because a BONE stock 94-95 is what i wanted....i

There is a BIG difference between paying $9k TWO YEARS AGO for a STOCK stang with 47K miles than a stang now partially modded with 60k miles on it.

NOW, with that being said Anthony, and in YOUR defense, I cant speak for what the value in the NY area is. I did NOT consider that when I posted that. DOWN here, used cars are everywhere and the value is a bit lower.

You would be nuts to pay 9 for that. Did the guy do the work or was it done professionally, and if it was can he prove it? Cause if the guy did it himself, that doesnt really add to the value. More mods = more things breaking, every time. Seeing how you need to paint part of it, I think that offsets the admittedly awesome wheels. I would offer the guy 6500 cash on the spot, and go as high as 7. Cash talks when he sees you pull out 65 hundred dollar bills 2 feet away from him. When I bought mine last year with 3.27s and a steeda tri-ax, with 72000 on it, I payed 6 cash and the guy was askin 7500, the car was in immaculate condition though.
