Yeah, but the Sonic Blue color of the car leads me to believe it's either an 03 or 04.

Definitely '03-'04 Cobra seats. 2001 Cobra seats didn't extend all the way down with the Alcantara like the Termy's seats do. The 2001 Bullitt seats were based on the design of the 2001 Cobra seats and the Mach 1's seats were based of the design of the Terminators seats....obviously minus the Alcantara for both the Bullitt & the Mach 1.

Personally, if all goes well and I end up getting a Terminator once I PCS back to the states then I am not really looking forward to those Terminator seats. That Alcantara material is horrible. Right now I have a British Spec Audi A3 (Jazz Blue) and it has half suede/alcantara seats and the suede is wearing fine but that alcantara type stuff attracts lint and isn't really holding up too well. No holes in it yet, but it does seem to "ball up" like how little balls of fabric from your socks seem to collect on the inside of your shoes.

Lol, pretty stupid way to explain it I know but it is like 3:55AM here in the UK and I'm gettin' sleepy. I love the look of the '03 Cobra seats, I just hope they won't be a problem. If they become an issue I will take them out and install a clean pair of Mach 1 buckets in it. Peace!

The Alcantara in the 03/04 seats holds up remarkably well and is easy to clean too. Nevet had an issue with mine. Might be a better quality than what's in your Audi, although that doesn't seem right for some reason...

Yeah UM, thats what I was thinking. It's a fine German made car but that fabric doesn't impress me at all...maybe the previous owner wore grip tape pants?

All I know is to the OP, those are definitely Terminator seats. And for certain that entire interior is light gray so for sure those seats in the picture must be mounted in a V6 or GT 'stang. Either way, they are worthy! Take care everyone and thanks UM for letting me know that Cobra Alcantara is good to go!

No. At first glance, one may think they look identical - but they are similar.

The layout of the leather/Alcantara on the seat is slightly different (as mentioned earlier by "Trail of Dead"). I *believe* the side bolsters of the 03/04 are also slightly beefier than the '01 seats...don't quote me on that though.

Here's a shot of my '01 seats for reference:

Yeah those seats in the '01 pictured above have smaller thigh bolsters and the Alcantara insert is curved at the front where your thighs ride. The 03/04 Alcantara is cut straight across at the front and the thigh bolsters are bigger.

Thanks! (for the "Good Eye" comment) If you look at the 2001 Cobra seats next to the 2001 Bullitt seats you'll see that they are the same besides the material used in the center of the seat. Obviously Leather for the Bullitt stitched in a "vintage" type of pattern (I think it is called "Comfort Weave") almost as a throwback to the old vinyl days of our dads Muscle car years. The 2001 Cobra, well the center of it's seat is Alcantara/Suede material, presumably for a Muscular/Sporty all the while looking almost like a luxury seat.

Obviously we all know the 1999 Cobra had leather GT seats minus the running Pony.

The 2003/2004 Mach 1 seats are VERY similar to the Terminator seats in the photo the OP provided with the exception of the higher bolster/lumbar ("Lumbar" always makes me think of Office Space...."Hell, Lumberg F***ed her!") supports of the Terminator seats and of course, the Alcantara insert in the center. The Mach 1 seat being an all leather design (except I'm not 100% sure of the material of the white horizontal stripe on the Mach 1 seats) that, like the bullitt was designed to be reminiscent of the muscle car days that these days seem to be all but forgotten.....

These days it seems our beloved Pony car is a relic or dinosaur in the eyes of many that just don't know what it feels like to love the Mustang.....I know I keep saying it but being in England has truly showed me how much the Mustang is frowned upon worldwide and also WHY the Japanese/Euro car scene is so big back in the states (Just listen to Jeremy Clarkson speak about the Mustang a little and you'll see what I mean). I know I'm rambling off topic OT: ) , sorry! I just love the MUSTANG!! Peace friends!!
