End of June/Beginning of July 1968. My 68 has a 289 and is dated June 23, 1968. I has some of the parts that were soon to go on emissions controlled 302s. It just depends which plant your car came out of, but in general June/July of 68. What it comes down to is whenever they ran out of 289s at that plant.

Hmmm. I think you better recheck those dates. I think you are forgetting the GT350 Shelbys and GT Mustangs that had the 302 4bbl.

I dont think they did. I know the 65-66 gt-350s didnt, and im next to positive the 67 didnt. So i vote for mid 68.
