proportioning valve? connects both left and right rear brakes and puts them into one?

a junction block is where you route a wire bundle and connect it to multiple terminals, then other wire bundles can be connected to the terminals and routed off in different directions. Very commonly used on heavy trucks for easy wiring maintenance. If you are looking at a rearend and wondering about the junction block someone's got you ass backwards.
