I just ordered my go-fast goodies and necessary stuff to rebuild my engine today!!!
I got the following on the way:

PBM Strike Force Aluminum 60 cc cyl. heads
.30 Keith Black Forged Pistons
1.6 Roller Rockers w/ 7/16" stud
Fel-pro gasket set
Clevite Bearings
Hastings Rings
ARP connecting rod bolts
and some other misc. stuff.

I have three other things to order yet being:
Mac Catless H-pipe
A/c and Smog deletes

Needless to say I'm anxious to tear into the motor again

I hate to ask this cliche question but how many horsies can I expect to see (don't forget to take into account what I already have done in my sig)?

Anyway, I'm starting March 10th so be on the lookout for a thread containing rebuild pictures that I will hopefully update day to day!

270's to 280's with a decent tune...limited by the cam and intake if not ported. Should be a blast on the street.

Expect 280 or 290 like DMAN said.

I've never heard of these heads? What are they? Who makes 'em? Are they like those Chinese clones?

This was my listing with all the info I had

New Complete 200cc PBM Striker Small Block Ford Aluminum cylinder heads. 63cc chamber with 2.055 X 1.6 stainless valves and with 1.440 dia. double spring with inner coil, that will handle 600 lift. They also have machined 10 degree retainers keepers with 3/8 studs and guide plates. These heads flow 270cfm on the intake and 170 cfm on the exhaust. Heads are similar to Victor Junior & Canfield heads.

I too don't know much about the heads. I looked on ebay, googled them, couldn't find much information! But the machine shop that I am buying through said they had an N/A motor on the dyno that made 500hp with the same heads im getting so that is a positive sign I guess. I'll make sure to post pictures of them as soon as I get them, and the rest of the parts I suppose.

That sounds a little fishy to me... sometimes a story too good to be true, is.

Yeaaaaa, but I trust the shop, I have gone to them before, some other people I know have too, all with awesome results, plus I think the heads come with a warranty.

likely he ment will support UPTO 500hp...n/a 302/306 mild compression engines RARELY exceed 330 to the wheels and that is done with the best of combos, I stick with my earlier statement 280 if the car is well tuned. Your cam and intake are nice mid power street parts but high peak numbers are made up high in the RPM band and your cam and intake don't peak high enough. Make sure the heads are warranty because there is nothing worse than striping out a thread on a head that's half installed or worse yet finding out subpar parts were used and leave you with costly repairs. The parts used in the heads, quality of the casting, use of helicoils are just some factors that should be considered along with knowing flow rates of the heads. For me I like to stick with a name brand simply because there is a track record so I know what to expect going in...alot of people can make heads out of aluminum but relatively few make good aluminum heads.

Well I guess I'll have to post a bunch of pictures of them as soon as I get them and everyone can judge for themselves.

I just ordered my MAC catless H-pipe and A/C delete kit!!! I now have everything on its way to me!
I guess I should have asked first before I ordered but I am hoping the catless H-pipe plus 3 chamber flowmasters wont be extremely loud? I hope I can still listen to music and talk to people???
