I heard that the dioblo is the mod tuner out-there

Dont buy any programmers online or speed shop!!! The only way to tune a car is on a dyno. I had a superchip burned from superchips and I ent to performance dyno in NH and dynoed it i was losing horsepower with it. I took it out and he burned me a chip that he has. After my dyno run he adjusted fuel and air and spark i gained about 30 HP from this. My Air and fuel ratio was 13 flat. Every car is Different so its hard to tune it without knowing the air and fuel is like.

both the Xcal and the predator are good it just comes down to prefernce. .... i got the predator and the dyno shop by my house the guy is real good with dyno tuning with the predator

I prefer the xcal2, but both are good, it really comes down to preference.

I can't tell you which is best but I can tell you that the Predator helped my Mustang a little in performance especially in the mid-range band, and smoothed it out some too. But the best part of it for me is the ability to adjust the speedo for the rear gear change, turn off the traction control, turn off my speed limiter (not that it was really necessary ), lower my rev limiter a little just in case, drop my idle down a few RPMs, change the settings on the fans for optimum on/off function, plus it also works as a real time monitor of some things going on while driving.

This is the most important point to be made - what do the tuners in your local area use? If you need local support, you don't want a Diablo or SCT only to find out that there are no tuners near you for that particular product.
Both SCT and Diablo websites have the ability to search for a dealer / tuner near you. Check 'em out!

Go with the Diablo Sports Predator, When I installed the tune on my 04 GT then went to the track I took .9 off of my 1/4 mile with no other mods. The next second is going to be the tough one.

Whats the point in the product if your having to finetune your air/fuel at the local Dyno???
Hay goshia,
I don't see dropping that much time just by baptizing your computer.
Dropping 0.9000000 is like adding 70hp.
These programmers' are only good for 30hp at the most.

it's not that you have to fine tune it, because the programers come with a stock to slightly modified re-calibration program for your stang. Now if you get some cams, gears and other mods that will give you real good gains then you need a fine tune to get the A/F ratio, spark/timing correct or you wont get the most HP possible out of your car and you'll be risking on really hurting the motor and it would run like S***
