I'm thinking of switching from Bosch platinum to NGK platinum. What do you think?

I'd go with Motorcraft, but the stores here don't have Motorcraft Pt, and I like not changing the plugs.

Id tos the bosch plugs no matter what you put in them. I guess NGK should be a whole lot better plug but I would just get motorcrafts instead. Autozones can get them even if they have to be ordered.

I would stay with Motorcraft, they seem to be cheaper, and last as long as anything else I have seen.

No precious metal plugs period. Platinuim, Iridium, whatever. Leave it alone. Your wallet will thank you and your motor won't notice.

As for brands, I prefer NGK but have used Motorcraft with favorable results. The only time I've run Autolites was in a '93 DP Ranger and the electrodes wore funny. Changed plug brands and the problem went away. The edges of the electrodes wore as if they were stuck in a pencil sharpener. After awhile they were pointed instead of flat across the tip. I thought it was a fluke so I bought installed another set. Same results. I don't know that it really mattered performance-wise, but I never bought another set of them.

Everything I own currently runs NGKs with the exception of the wife's '06 Stang for obvious reasons

I just run Autolites in my car...I figure if they can handle 16 psi, they must be pretty decent.
