I am having a hellova time finding wheels for my stang. A local shop had some TSW ones, well now he cant get them..... I am very frustated and want to get some opinions on the quality of cruizen concepts wheels before I pay the $650 shipping charges to Maui.

18X9 18X10 2005-2009 95 Cobra R Style Wheel and Tire Packages W/Nitto Tires

This is the wheel I like. How well are their wheels built? Anybody have experiences that would care to share?

Cruizin Concepts doesn't actually build anything, they are a distributor. I'd find out who actually makes the wheel and do some research on the manufacturer. The only thing you'd want to know about Cruizin Concepts is how is their customer service after the sale. Say if there's a warranty issue or a defect in their product.

I was wondering when the kdawg was gonna check in. LOL

I am really excited about em. After I placed my order online I got a call within minutes from tirerack. They guy was telling me they dont like to mount 285's on a 9 inch rim even though their website suggested it as the optimum choice. He tried to sell me a different rim but they didnt have hardly any that were 9.5 wide.......and they didnt even have a 275 tire to fit and match the front tire so I told the guy to cancel my order. He then told me he would check with a tech. He called me back and said no problem, its well within the specs.

I was thinking about going wider in the front like you but then thought about the extra weight slowing my quarter mile times down .....and ended up just going with my original plan. I am just glad to finally have some wheels in transit and not have to search for another set.

The 285/40 on the 9" wheel will be fine. The sidewall will bulge a bit, but nothing that will be unsafe I've seen people run 275 DRs on the 8" wheel aired down with no problems at the track. That has a lot of bulge and up over 100 mph with less than 18 psi!

Shipping charges were fed x two day service for only $276.

Cruisin concepts wanted $650 ups ground, A M wanted $462 UPS also.

Tirerack also has the Hunter Road Force balancing, lugs etc.. all included in its price. Placed the order at 11 am, got an email confirming shipment at 4 pm.

You gotta love that kind of service.

Does anone have any pictures of Cruzin Concepts Bullet rims? I was thinking about ordering a set but can't find any pictures. I want to see if they're lighter/darker than my stock ones.

I had a HORRIBLE experience with Cruzin' Concepts. Took them over 6 months to right a problem with one wheel they sent that had a completly different offset than the other 3!! Big headache, bad customer service (if you could get ahold of them), and made me pay to ship the 3 wheels back because they couldn't find a replacement wheel. They said only one wheel was bad, so they'll only pay to ship one back!!!!!

Interesting, I like the American Muscle Rims better, but Cruzin conecpets seems to have a better tire selection.

Can't go wrong with tirerack. I had a problem with a new goodyear tire (had a leak). They sent me another one quickly and told me to send them the mount/balance bill. They did have the old one picked up.

I love how they post specs of the tires as well.

Am getting complements everytime I drive the car too. What a difference a nice set of wheels can do.

Cruzin Concepts

Stay away from these asses. Place 2 orders and had major problems with both. Do yourself a favor and order from someone else.
