The way I heard the story, it was a competition to see how high and how long the cars could keep the front wheels off the ground. He ran down the track, nose in the air just fine. Then, after he got past the grand stand, there was nothing to block the wind anymore. A gust of caught him and flipped him over.

I took the time to type all of that out so that it could be understood, and then you come along not 15 minutes later with a video and two words and completely relegate my post.

The rear window sticker would explain that.

I was more impressed with the fact he saved it! That is very little dammage for what could have been. But his shorts were stank as hell when he got out.

I didn't realize the pic I posted was from that video, cause I've seen that video a million times but never seen the still shot. Thought it was something new, lol, sorry to repost.

You can hear the wind whipping in the video...and look at the flag at the beginning.

I wonder if anyone thought "Hmm..maybe this isn't a good idea today"

I clicked on the other video from the other side of the track and you could hear the announcer talking like they were having a wheelie contest

credit where credit is due for saving it, but banished to hell for all eternity for bastardizing a mustang with a Chevy powerplant

**waits for those jersey guys who constantly defend LS1s to come in the thread and leave rude comments**

"Stock suspension" in the drag racing world means stock mounting points. Everything is in the stock location.
