Where is the fuel pressure schrader valve located?

I was thinking of installing a FP gauge in the valve. Has anyone done this? The a gauge is inexpensive and I was wondering id you can see it well enough when it's installed...

anyway, where do I look for the schrader valve exactly?

Here is the best I could come up with. A friends car I built the engine for.

It is not in a very good location to read as you can see. So we built a bracket that bolted to the front of the intake and used a short peice of braided hose so it could be read easier.

I hope this helps.

I does help. But a question: On the 2nd photo the gauge seems too close to the Distributer to be a gauge on the schrader valve...is your gauge plumed in the line somewhere else?

thanks for the pics

appreciate it.

No problem. Read the previous post. I hooked a small peice of braided hose from the schrader valve to the gauge and made an aluminum bracket that bolted to the front intake bolt so it made it easier to read.

On my car I ran a longer peice of braided hose and ran my gauge on the strut tower. Like this.

You can put it anywhere you would like. These are just the two ideas I came up with.
