i have a 64 1/2 mustang I drive daily. Well after 250k on the rearend its clunking when I place it in gear. I have looked all over and I cannot find anything higher then 3.55. I currently have 2.89s, and I love the gas mileage I get average highway is 30-36 intown is 17-20. I previously had 3.25s and and the mileage was similar in town but freeway has 20-25. I do alot of freeway driven.
Oh and it had a limited slip diff, but no it acts like a onl legger.
