Where to get good quality throttlebody?

Im lookin for a good quality 75mm Tbody, I was thinking Edelbrock.
Any other good brands? Where can i find them?

accufab or holley. Only way to use them is to convert to a fox style. If not, your stuck with junk brands.

is edelbrock a junk brand? I rather stick with the 94-95 style

You will probably be fine. I just prefer the good brands Make sure you get a 75mm adapter, the trickflow adapter is 75mm.

i think edelbrock makes a 75mm elbow also

as per your mods in the sig i would stick to a FRPP or bbk. You could probably pick one up cheap on ebay. And accufab did make a sn95 style TB but discontinued them after a few years. you might be able to find one used but it might be difficult.

Good decision not to do a fox swap. I pretty sure its an internet myth, or placebo to make you think it works. and if it does make a diffrence it could only be minimal and probably unnoticeable. people aren't going to like that i said that because there arepeople on here that swear by it. And they are entitled to their opinion, but thats mine.

everything else is not junk either, accufab does make real nice pieces, but for the money the FRPP, edelbrock, bbk, and Pro Products make quality stuff too.

I am not sure but i am assuming that you are sticking with the stock intake? If you are then you don't need the TB adapter, becasue it is already there.

I'm going with a trickflow head/cam/intake upgrade soon and want to upgrade to a 75mm throttlebody to match the intake and intake adapter size.
also in the future I will be getting a supercharger so I want to go ahead and get a 75mm instead of 70 or 65.

well i have heard horrible things about the performance products tb.

but i am pretty sure people that do the fox tb swap is more for clearance then for function.

I have an Edelbrock throttle body on my setup, and it has worked pretty well for me for the last 3 years. I went with the 70mm, but in hindsight I wish I would have bought the 75mm.

I am hoping to switch to a fox style setup pretty soon, mainly because I don't like the Vortech discharge setup for the 94-95. When I do that I plan on picking up an Accufab 75mm.

That would be a good reason to me. there have been so many post on here about how much better the car will run and it bothers me a little.

As for the 75 edelbrock TB, i've herd nothing bad at all. it looks like it is priced well too. Before you commit to buying the edelbrock though, try looking for a used sn95 accufab TB. Accufab makes some real nice stuff. might be a little difficult but if you have the time and don't mind the effort i think it would be worth it.

Accufab is top of the line, but not by far.

Edelbrock and Holley are right behind it for a fairer price.

Those downing the Edelbrock products have probably never seen one, or are just bias. They are built nicely.

Unless you plan on boost in the near future, the 75mm TB will not be a very efficient way of letting in air in your engine. It flows nearly twice as much as your engine can even take in with even aftermarket heads/cam/intake.

A 65 or 70mm will flow PLENTY and won't give you that goosy throttle at low speeds.

I bought a Edelbrock 70mm for my car. I haven't put it on yet but the quality of the piece looks top notch all the way around.

Having had my car with a 94-95 throttle body and now fox style set-up I can say there is a difference. Is it more power, maybe. Butt the one thing I did noticed is that the thottle is a lot more sensitive and seems to rev faster. When I drove my car for the first time with the fox throttle body I felt like an ******* everytime I started off the line in first cause I kept revving the engine. I would recommend an accufab throttle body fox swap.

95strokerPSU - What size throttle body did you have and what size did you put on? A wider millimeter throttle body has a touchier throttle. It is something you have to get used to, and can, as you did

I got a Ford 70mm polished.. not bad looking out of the box and not too expensive either.

That could explain some of the difference in ... "feel"

I use the performace products/ professional products or whatever and have no problems after almost 2 years so far.

I had a BBK originally and was lazy to polish a 75mm when I upgraded so I bought a Professional products one and had no real issues. When I bought T bolts though it cracked the lip on the tb b/c it's so damn thin. I went back to a BBK and you can see the difference in quality of metal. The PP tb also didn't feel as smooth on throttle response, felt like it was popping/rubbing a bit in the spring assembly for the butterfly.

Where to get good quality throttlebody?
