I'm not sure which tire to choose. First thing's first, would the 275/40/17 fit on my Pro-kit lowered GT front and back with 17x9 Cobra R's? I probably WON'T be in snow but there is a possiblity of torrential rain. I need a tire that will last for more than 10,000 miles of spirited driving and has excellent traction. I couldn't find Nitto 555 tires in that size on Discount Tire or else they'd be on the list.

Kumho Ecsta ASX
$150.00 each
Treadwear: 420
Traction: A
Temperature: A
Speed Rating: ZR

BF Goodrich g-Force Sport
$167.00 each
Treadwear: 340

BF Goodrich g-Force T/A KDW
$203.00 each
Treadwear: 300
Traction: A
Temperature: A
Speed Rating: ZR

BF Goodrich g-Force T/A KDWS
$177.00 each
Treadwear: 400

Pirelli P-Zero Nero M+S
$186.00 each
Treadwear: 400

Here you go. I've got 12K on my Nittos, and they still look brand new.

I just got ASX's (well in November)...I'm very happy with them...

I know it's probably not a big deal for many guys here, but I've found them much quieter and better riding than the Goodyear and Kumho Espwhatchamacallems I had before...another plus for me is they aren't directional so they can be cross rotated...

hey, I drive my Mustang 25K a year, stuff like that matters

What I went with:

Yokohama AVS-100
$139.00 each
Treadwear: 280
Traction: A
Temperature: A
Speed Rating: ZR

on 17x9's with H&R Street springs, zero clearance issues:

I have the g-Force Sports on my SHO, & don't care for them.

I went ahead and bought the KDW's! Tire rack has them for $163 instead of the 203 on discount tire.
