I need to know what Amsoil i should use in my new 347 once it is broke in?

I know there has to be someone here who uses it or knows which is better?

Talk to your engine builder. He may have had a specific weight in mind when he clearanced the internals.

Personally, I'm about 5o or 10-30 in the cooler months and 10-40 in the warmer.

It's purely subjective though.

i would go with 10-30 synth. go with some amsoil or royal purple. from what i hear mobil 1 is no longer synth, granted it wont make that much of a difference but the cost of the mobil 1 hasnt changed which makes it not such a great deal anymore.

I was recommended to run 20w50 on my new motor. I thought it was way too thick but thats what I was told so I listened.
