Which cars came with C-4 trans

Hey guys ,
My buddy at level 10 called me ,they have found a crack in the C-4 case I was having them build for me what year cars or trucks came with c-4 trans that I could use as a replacement?

Thank you Are these cars definetly C-4 or could there be another option like an Aod...I mean I could spot a 351 windsor across a J/Y but not a c-4 do I need any special size bellhousing? Im assuming the smaller bell I didnt get a bell with the other one

there are several different styles of c4s. the bell housing varies depending on whether you have a 157 or 164 tooth flywheel and they have different types of fill tubes, case fill and pan fill. I believe that Mustangs and Fords, classic Mustang mag, had a big write up a few months ago about c4s, which ones are best and what they came in. Just don't get a really early model c4, up to 66, cause they have a screwy shift pattern that Ford came up with to make them easier to drive in snow and ice.
