C&L and JLT seem to be intakes that have respect round here. Personally I like the look of the C&L racer 95mm setup.
the big thing is you WILL want to get one with a tune. In many ways its the tune that offers the bigger HP on these cars. Brenspeed have the C&L plus X-Cal2 for $599.
Having said that, any good quality intake setup will work well and make a difference.
As for Eleanor, do you mean the Mustang in Gone in 60 Seconds??? If so, then the answer is no. You'll never get it to sound the same unless you run the same type of engine and exhaust setup. An old cast iron push rod engine just makes a different noise to a modern aluminium OHC.
But don't loose faith, as the Ford mod motor sounds awsome with the right setup
