What shifter would you suggest for my 02' GT. It has the tremec TR-3650 tranny. I was looking at the hurst and the steeda tri-ax. Which one would you all suggest? Any other ideas other than these two?

Thanks

Pro 5.0 with a MGW handle feels the best IMHO.

i've got a pro 5.0 and love it ... but the steeda tri-ax is sweet too. pretty much just a matter of choice.

Pick one..

I have a Tri-Ax on my 03GT and have no complaints...Feels real solid and I added a T-Handle from CDC...Sweet!! Also, I just got the Tremec 3650 TSB done and the tranny feels much smoother so far....Highly recommended

Any of the performance shifters available are a big step up from stock..They are all bacically the same, some with some kind of a feature or two... Pro 5.0, B&M, Hurtst are all good, just pick one..In fact, I am told the 05GT comes with a B&M Ripper stock...Why shouldn't Ford get some of that aftermarket money??

You can't go wrong an while you're at it, get a trick shifter handle/knob..It visually finishes the mod and feels great ..

My vote is for the Steeda Tri-ax. I have a couple friends with a 5.0 and a b&m. After they drove my car they loves the tri-ax and are attempting selling their shifters for a tri-ax.

I've tried the 5.0, seemed like the shifter was way too far forward for me (long legs not as long arms I guess) I'll be buying the Tri-ax

"Tastes Great!!"

"Less filling!!"

I've had my tri-ax for about 3 years now, I love it, no complaints.

I have a Tri-ax and love it, but really anything other than the stock shifter is an improvement!
