So let me get this right, you're going to go AGAINST recommending an aftermarket midpipe? WTF mate?

Take a look at the stock one. Take a look at a Magnaflow X (or any other aftermarket midpipe). Notice how much the stock one sucks.

Better yet, do longtubes and an offroad X. Proven gains of 15-20RWHP (even a bit more in some cases, I've seen 22-23RWHP) over the stock exhaust system.

Wow, that looks purdy under there. My bassani went in nice and easy and if the cats do go bad, they give you two pipes to make it an o/r which was kewl!

ok...it is apparent everyone hates bassani with cats...but is there anything wrong with bassani offroad x-pipe. and if so...does a dr.gas bolt up to bassani's stepped header with the 3 inch collector...according to bassani they don't match up...

Another thing, I've had my BASSANI catted X for 2yrs.. I've not had any problems what-so-ever..Lot's of people blast BASSANI'S catted X's in favor of MAGNA-FLOWS..BUT.. until very recently, BASSANI used to use MAGNA-FLOWS

argh!!hate it when that happens!!!

anyway, BASSANI now makes their own in-house cats...they don't use MAGNA FLOWS anymore because they've had so many complaints about the cats going bad...

As far as the Xpipe goes, you can't go wrong with BASSANI or MAGNA FLOW..If you want a catted X, inquire about RECENT BASSANI AND MAGNAFLOW purchases..if O/R is your choice... they're both great pipes

That's my .04..

SonicB your site says nothing of x-pipes, it simply relates to hi-flow h pipes. I wanted the exhaust to make my borlas come to life . Anyone have one of these pipes feeding a borla cat-back?

I had BBK. And I no longer have BBK. If that tells you anything. I had seal probrem on driverside connector. Do not know if it was becasue BBK or infamous "sholder" probrem tho. If(and I will this sommer) do it again, I think I'll go with magnaflow, or VSR SS O/R X and get cats installed. But then pro-chamber is cool too

I posted the link because it mentions that a 2.5" pipe may not make you happy.
