95 or 2000 style? The 95 is just the cowl hood, the 2000 style is the cowl with the vents. I'm getting the 2000 style in a few weeks. My friend is buying it for me as a graduation gift. How awesome is that?

I've got the 95R on mine. I guess I like it, nice to be driving and look out and see it reminds me there is something under the hood.

I have one and sadly when I took it off laste week to work on my car, my clumsy friend dumped it off the hook and it feel 5 feet to the ground. It suffered a quarter size chip on the side. I'm Pissed!

The quality WAS awesome

I have some questions as I am looking to replace my cowl hood. The true Cobra R hood is only a 1-1/2" raise... right? Also, are these the ones offered through Ford Racing? And... finally, are their underside finished or fiberglass exposed. I appreciate your insight and experience with the quality and fit of these hoods.

FYI.

H.O. Fibertrends make the Cobra R hood. You can buy them directly from them.

The HO fibertrend hood is not finished on the under side, one of the reasons I went with Cervini.
I have the Cervini Cobra R hood & the underside is finished, very nice hood with perfect fit & finish.
