who here thinks my job is gay...seriously?

completely unrelated, but i hafta know...i started out bussing tables for a year and a half at a restaurant at minimum wage, then i had an offer to start cooking for $9.00 an hour, i did this for six months or so until i had the chance to be a waiter... so i took it, now i make an average of 16-18$ an hour after taxes... but everyone asks me if im gay because i wait tables... does this really fit into the same category as fashion or interior designer??... i wear cargo pants and a golf shirt, its not like i dress up like liberacci... honest opinons considering the $$... by the way i am just getting through college so i cant get a "career job" yet...

no being a waitor is not gay and at $16-$18 an hr it dosent matter. Its not the same catagory as an interior designer or a hair dresser. Those guys are always gay plus there must be some hottie female co waiters

its just that a lot of male waitors in upscale establishments are gay doesnt mean the job itself is + your making alot more money than me

I'm a waitor and yes the $$ can be good. That doesn't make me gay it makes me $$ for mods and bills.

shoot I'd be gay for $16-$18 an hour after taxes. Show me the $ and I will bend over right now. With that money I will de-gay myself working on my cobra and scratching my nuts watching the new plasma screen I bought with the money.

no i agree its not a bad racket for the $$... and thats what i tell everyone... that i just do it for the money (the fact that i work with all 17-30 yr old hotties doesnt hurt either... they're sausage hungry and hang on to me like i was the last in town... so it's good) plus its anything but upscale, its like a private owned bickford's or denny's, you know breakfast all day, but its the only restaurant in town to speak of so it's busy... glad to hear maybe my life doesnt suck... well it DOES, just not becaus of the job...
