Who sells a shim kit for the T5 Bearing Retainer?

I'm putting in a new clutch and I decided to upgrade to a steel throwout bearing retainer while I am in there. I bought the Ford Racing M-7050-A part from Summit. It came with a seal already pressed in, but no shims. I called Summit and the only shims they have for it are part of the T5 rebuild kit, which I don't need. It seems like this is a pretty common upgrade on this board, so where is everybody getting shims?

I beleive 8.8 axle shims can be used and are the correct size. Not 100% sure on this..but they can be had at the ford dealer

hmm...I rebuilt an 8.8 last winter. I know I have some left over, so I'll check tonight and report back. thanks for the idea.

No deal on the 8.8 shims. The pinion shims are too small and the carrier shims are too big.
