I Just put A Cervini's KR 500 hood on my car, The body shop took of the GT fender emblems to blend the fenders. I told the guy not to put the old emblems back on the car, I was going to find something else to put back in place of them. I really like the Powered By Ford emblem they put on the Shebly GT, I went to Captial Ford They say they need the Vin # of my Car. WTF!! You have to have a Shebly GT to get this $10.00
Emblem Made out of plastic. Appartentaly Shebly owns the rights to this piece of plastic, and unless you're dumb enough to pay the 7,500.00 to 10,000.00 extra for a Shelby GT you will never be able to get this emblem. Well I figure good ole Ebay can help me out. I typed in "powered by ford fender emblem". I click on the first one I see..."Brand new OEM powered by ford fender emblems"...the bids had risen to $450.00!! WTF!! Are we isane?! Something that costs less than bottle of Pepsi to make is now $450.00?? Then I found another on from Blue Oval Industries. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2007...lems-Pair_W0QQitemZ260134194619QQcmdZViewItem
It's crazy, that GT emblem is looking pretty sweet .

I've actually got a pair to sell. But I gave about $250 for them, so the price won't be cheap. They may also end up on ebay.

Go to a Ford dealer who has the Shelby GTs. (or find one on the street)
Bring paper and pen
Look in front windshield of car
Write VIN down
Go to parts counter at other dealership
Purchase part for $10
Do Snoopy Dance(tm)

Good luck. I don't think you will get them for any less than the going Ebay prices. Ford dealers, from what I have been told, can't get them. And those other emblems are much different. It is my understanding that Shelby controls distribution and won't even sell them to those who have a Shelby.

KR 500 hood

I like that hood a lot. Did you get the ram air kit with it and if not, do you know if it will work with a K&N cold air setup?

The KR hood is sweet I love it But I didn't get the ram air kit, because of the supercharger. But the heat extactors work as long you don't install the pans under them. I wish they included something to close the off the ram air part.

Hey Smiley, over the past couple of years I have learned that teh internet police can be pretty tough. Try proof reading before your next post ya douchewaffle.

Back on topic, what amazes me is that these badges are almost impossible to obtain, yet you can get a Carroll Shelby Signed Dash Plaque and door sill kit for a GT500 at shelbyperformanceparts.com for $300.00. And from what I can tell you don't need any proof of ownership of a GT500 to purchase one.
