Will my 93 cobra's trans stand up to a Vortech supercharger

Any of you guys know if the trans on my 93 cobra will be ok if i install a vortech supercharger or must i upgrade. Any help or experience with this would be great. thanks.

I would think it would be fine there are a few GT's running around here wtih superchargers and a bone stock tranny

Hard to say, but if you run street tires it will hold up a lot longer than drag radials. Power shifting is very hard on trannys.

I put an S trim on my 93 cobra back in February and my car has 100k miles with the stock cobra tranny. The car made 525 rwhp with the blower and other add ons. I run nitto drag radials. Been going easy on the car and so far everything is still tight. Not looking forward to breaking something all though I expect to.
