Hey guys my windows on my 66 coupe are not lining up right. When i open and close the passenger side door the top edge of the window gets caught in the rear quarter window's track and it feels really bad it feels like the door slips down, but if i roll down one of the windows its fine.

So i was wondering can the window's be adjusted or is something broken inside?

Also is there a kinda of spring inside the quarter panel or the door panel? I dont know if i'm just too used to newer cars now or not but there's alot of noise that i hear when i drive the car. Whether it is from air coming in cause the window is not aligned right, to some spring noise in the door, to something being loose in the package tray deck lid area.

Anyone know what would cause a lot of rattling in that area? like when the car is just a little above idling that area starts to rattle like no other any ideas?

If the door feels like it drops (way) down off the striker when you open it, the door hinges may be worn out. It's supposed drop down a small bit. Or it's possible that the stainless trim around the windows has come loose. You can use a plastic hammer to lightly tap the trim back down on the glass to make up an 1/8" or more usually. This is all assuming that your regulators are in good shape.

As for the rattle under the decklid, make sure the black rubber isolator is present on at least one of the tension rods that connect the decklid hinges together, and that the screw and clamp that secures them to the underside of the package tray haven't come loose.
