windshield molding

It takes a special tool. Check out NPD page 171 item C-T3 $4.95

I used a narrow (1 1/2") putty knife and carefully (but firmly) pried up (from the windshield side, not the body side) until it came loose. Those clips can really hold it, so don't force any one spot, but rather keep working a litle bit at a time until you can see where the clips are located. Patience is virtue here, unless you want to buy new trim!

i helped cobain do his window molding we got it off witha small screw driver it looks ok but the gasket don't look so good and there was a lot of stuff under the molding i guess build up over the years it is kinda cracked you think we should change it and is it a big job the front is the same way ,,,, the clips are ok that are there ?? what do you guys think
