Gonna have to check any fuses that would be part of that system and then work your way down the line. Check for power at the connector if you can gain access to it at some point along the circuit. I have several wiring diagrams, what year is your car?
I have a Ford EVTm for a 91. The fuse your gonna want to check is fuse #2 , its an 8.25A fuse. Not sure what color it is but you should be able to find it. Once I install my scanner software Ill scan that page of the EVTM for you as well as the diagnostic flow charts and test procedures. Give me a minute.
