Is woodburn more strict on tech over PIR? Cause when i run at PIR all they ask is if i have a driveshaft loop and dont look or ask about the extended wheel studs and i tell them i'm running slicks. peace

I've only been to woodburn once but as you know i've been to PIR A few more times IMO there probably about the same and a lot has to do with the particular tech that you get and the mood there in, also it seems when they get to know you there a little less strick . For instance once at PIR With my cobra they went to check my battery to see if it was secured properly and they pulled so hard on it that I saw the front end of my car start lifting up and was waiting to see the wheels come off the ground, I was thinking im sure glad I have sub frame connectors so they didnt bend the frame lol but the next time I got the same tech and all he did was glance under the hood and never layed a finger on anything whitch made me very happy On a side note I imagine the faster you are the closer look there going to take .

Most of it depends on the tech guy and how crazy they want to get with your car. I have raced at Woodburn many times and for the most part I pulled into line, put my hood up and they just walked bye and looked down and I was through.

I think most people that have the really crappy looking cars that look as though they are held together with bubblegum and string get gone through with a fine tooth comb.

I personally love their track WAY more then PIR as their tech guys are much better, much quicker and my times are always at least 2-3 tenths quicker.

Wish I would of ran there that night instead of PIR and my time would of been a 11.5 instead of a 11.8 although it was nice to nail the 11 and PIR my home track or everyone would of said the only reason I got my 11 was because it was At woodburn so guess it worked out.
