One other thing I just thought of.... I understand the reason for the warning in the title, but does anyone really still use 56k dialup? I can't even remember how long it's been since I had it....
I'm still trying to determine if I want the MGW or the Hurst. Everyone says the MGW is by far the best shifter, but I just can't get over how nice the Hurst looks. Usually I'm a form follows function kind of guy, but I just can't turn down the chrome stick and white ball.

The Hurst is still a fine shifter. Yes, the MGW is probably a better shifter, but I also love the look of the Hurst and taller stick. We run it in both of ours without problems. The shifts are much more short and accurate. Basically, if you want something smooth like a Euro car, go with MGW. If you want something kinda notchy, go with the Hurst. I like the notchy feeling. It lets me know I'm in gear.
It looks rather straight forward. But, there are a lot of extra steps that MGW takes that most other's do not. As you can tell by the picks, the MGW comes with dynamat and a peice of sound deadening material, which you will not get with most others. It comes with a handy dandy install video too. I watched it already and it looks like a breeze.
On a side note, I bought the shift stops with mine but MGW states you don't need to install them because our trans has internal shift stops. Anyone install them anyway? Should I install them or just skip it?
