i think it's just the lighting that makes them look slightly different

one does look a bit darker, but thats the nature of hypercoated. I have the exact same wheels, and they drastically change color based on the lighting. I wouldn't worry about it.

I had hoped so too but after holding them up (my arms are sore now, btw) at different angles in differents types of lighting, I am starting to think that they are different.

Do you just have two? I was gonna say take another one and hold it up for comparison. But yeah, they do look different ...

It looks like the second and fourth wheel are anthracite and the others are HC (Hypercoated)

The one does look lighter to me. Take them outside and see if they look any different. Could just be the lighting inside.

Man ... I thought it would be easier to tell if you posted pics of all of them but it made it more difficult. lol.


Um, damn *shakes head* .. I photoshopped the center cap emblem deal onto the third wheel from the left to see if that made any difference. But it looks to me, like that one rim is different.



A picture in the sun would be your best bet!

yep, that one is way lighter than the rest. It shouldn't matter that 1 rim is always lighter than the rest. I dont think lightning would PICk on 1 rim always lol.

those are much too discolored to use on a mustang, just send them to me and try again.

Looks to me like the DD ones are anthracite, and the other 2 are hypercoated.
