I have some memories of that brand from the teenage years. Perhaps it is just my memory,.....but, even then it seemed, shall we say, kinda raw.
Not that we knew anything, we also drank Thunderbird on a few occasions.

Nah, its wasn't Mad Dog.... Thats the good stuff....
I'm as shocked as you are.Well, it's official. Dave's Booger thread has turned into a Booze Cruise! Who'ad thunk it?
When I started consuming alcohol I really didnt' like the taste of beer ( hard to imagine now) My "dealer" ( I was underage) bought me some cheapy wine at the "supermarket" to try out one friday night.... Spent most of night behind an old service station blowing chunks into a Dumpster... It was at least a decade before I had wine again...
For hanging out on the beach/lake, i'll do a Corona light. It's like water to me
In my 20's i HATED beer. COuldn't stand the smell or taste of it. I was dating a high class lady and she got me into wine. So i had a red wine phase.
In my early/mid 30's i finally got into IPA's.
Late 30's/40.....Scotch is my drink of choice. I still do IPA, but not as much.

I'm not hibernating, just don't have much going on with the car other than saving and waiting for my turn in line.Yeah, that was nice last time. Have to roust Nick out of hibernation too. John moved off to Arkansas, so he’s out.
What's next Nick? Paint & body?I'm not hibernating, just don't have much going on with the car other than saving and waiting for my turn in line.
Yep... I'm not spoiling any surprises here, but it will be a full send! What's next Nick? Paint & body?
My CRS world came through.... It was Bali Hai that ended up in the dumpster.... In chunksBoones Farm Straberry Hill was the first for me. Every time I see it I cringe now.
I am pretty sure I speak for most of us when I ask this....what happened to the high class lady?
Unlike me, your lucky you learned that lesson sooner in life than later...I got tired of spending all my money on her so she could impress other people.
Married a lovely lady who makes her own money and doesn't care about impressing others.
Is that Rage Ultra filler also good on fiberglass? So tonight we’re going through the Oklahoma version of what Mike (@Mustang5L5 ) just went through. Difference is amount I guess. We’ll get about eight inches of snow, yet we’ll be far more confused and dangerous on the road than any nor’easter driver. Who knows? Maybe a day off tomorrow?
So it’s been awhile since I’ve gotten paint supplies from our paint supplier. Fact is, we changed suppliers.
As y’all know, I’ve always gotten free supplies (bondo, sand paper, etc….) for working on my car. Welllllllllll, the new supplier still agrees that I’ll get the paint for free, but not so much the incidentals. Damnit.
Well, if I’m going to buy my own supplies, I’m going for the better stuff. Like my choice for mud. I really prefer Rage Ultra over any of Evercoat’s other fillers. And definitely over the 3M fillers. It is quite a bit more, but it’s a really good product. In the picture you’ll see a soft pouch of the Rage Ultra. It’s a really convenient way to dispense the product. Plus it’s only a quart. This is pretty important. I won’t need a gallon sized can until I’m working on the body. Filler goes bad relatively quick if not used. This way I don’t waste much.
The other items are two new collets for my die grinder. A new 2” and a 3” backing discs. My old one lasted for a couple decades, but then I’m a painter. A full time body man might replace his more often. The box contains 2” 36 grit grinding discs.
I‘ll be ordering a few more things in preparation for a nice warm day so I can work on Booger.
Luckily i made it to the liquor store in time to get my emergency supplies for the weather event we are having.
