Never whored car, tell me what you think

So if those rear DD rims are from american Muscle, did you remove the centre pony caps from your stock rims? If you did how'd you do it? what did you use to stick it on the deep dish rims? I have always just wanted to buy the rear rims but I would have hated to have two different looking...

    Cam Install

Thats great info guys, I didn't know you could do it without removing the timing covers. blkhorse why do you say that it is foolish to do it without removing the timing cover, whats the downfall usually?? As far as cams go I just want a mild cam, like the cms stage one cam or something...

    Cam Install

Do you know where you can get one of these tools?? Cause if you can change the cam without removing the timing cover that would be awesome. when you remove those bolts do you have to have the engine held up, or is just 4 bolts that attach to the oil pan?

    Cam Install

Just reading the haynes manual, cause I'm contemplating some camshafts for a winter project. It says to remove the timing chain cover you have to remove the oil pan...is this true? Just wondering if I need to have an engine support tool or not.

Having problem after taking car to dealer for routine maintenance...

Thats a tough one, could be a number of things. could be the clutch, or tires, front end alignment, etc. You say its just the pedal itself thats vibrating?? could be the Driveshaft too, the donut on them sometimes comes loose and makes all kinds of raquet.

    Ram Air vs Cold Air

So knowing that I'm staying N/A for a couple of years at least, would you recommend going with a 70mm TB/Plenum combo as opposed to the 75mm. At least thats what I have been reading and I think I will do unless someone here can give me reason to go with the 75mm TB/plenum. But I have heard that...

    Ram Air vs Cold Air

I was looking at one for the car as well, and the JLT from american muscle looked pretty good, i liked the fact that it moved the MAF into the fenderwell with the air filter and pipeing is huge like 4" or something, looks pretty clean. Not sure how moving the MAF will affect the performance but...

    Cat Back or H-Pipe?

Get the Magnaflows, you will love the sound, run the pipes str8 back(cut the y pipe), and you will love the sound. I did that with my old 98 V6 and lots of people mistook it for a V8. Well I would get the "is that a 5.0L?" I think the midpipe would give you more top end power than a catback...
