08 Conv Gt500 W/ Nav Bluetooth Question

I've got a '08 convertible Shelby GT500 with the navigation unit. I just now got one of those fancy I-Phones and would like to use bluetooth if possible. The factory navigation unit has a button for "Phone" function, but it doesn't do anything????? other than beep at me.. I'm assuming there's some aftermarket or factory parts or components to turn this function on. I've been to my local Ford dealership with no luck. They recommended I go to Car Toys and stumped the Tech there. Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks - Dan
