Anyone have issues with the Anti-Theft in their Mustang? On my car, if I have the tilt wheel up before I try to turn the key - it cranks but will not start ("THEFT" light flashing). If the tilt is down first - car starts not problem. This used to happen occasionally - now it's every time. It's sort of cool in that, if you don't know this quirk you can't start the car - even with the key - but I'm worried that some day it may get worse and not start at all. I have a Hayes maunal, but it does not really address the anti-theft at all. I'm thinking a pinched or fatigued wire possibly, but don't know if I'm on the right track.
Anybody else have a problem like this?
I'd also like to know if anyone knows of a good Cobra specific repair manual that covers specifics like the Cobra IRS.
Any advise would be appreciated.
