Anyone seen these brake mods for II's?

I checked a junkyard computer today, and found out the maverick, comet, versailles and granada all share front disc brake pieces. Now I have a friend stopping by on sunday with his maverick, so I can measure up the caliper bracket of his car and see if it will fit/comes close to fitting on my II's spindle.

If I find a caliper bracket that will bolt up and work with the 11" rotor, this will be the cheapest and easiest means of getting 5-lugs, 20% more braking power, and better rotor cooling from a II.

I noticed that Daniel Gervais' says he's using the stock calipers with the Granada rotors, using homemade spacers for the brackets. You might send him an email and ask him to post pics.
