My clutch has 540 miles on it and works great doesn't slip or anything but when I press the clutch in it squeeks really loud then if I keep it held in the squeeking goes away. Sometimes it won't do it but most of the time it does if I'm moving its louder then if the car is still. What could this be? Throw out bearing? Pilot bearing? :poo:ty adjustable clutch cable? Like I said it works well and just got broken in so I'm lost. Could I need to rd lube the throw out bearing? Lmk thank you

If you used the one with the kit I wouldn't be surprised if it is bad. They are notorious for that. Try some lithium grease on it. Maybe just some break in dust from the clutch. If it is a bad bearing, order one from Ford.

I have a similar problem. New clutch and bearing put in late last year, maybe 3000 miles since installation. The clutch pedal started to rattle when in gear and not when I apply a little pressure. Shifts fine, but not sure why? Throw out bearing gone or????? The rattle is like the pedal is loose, but it isn't and only does it when the pedal is not depressed. No noise when engaging the clutch. NO noise if a little pressure is applied, kinda like taking any slack out?
