Help...wiring For Drivers Side Coil

I just bought a 97 GT and the guy tried to install a MSD 6AL on it. It was unhooked most the way with the bypass plug in and Im trying to go back to factory but having troubles on the drivers side. The colors on the factory harness dont match up with the wires at the plug. Am I missing something? It doesnt seem right that color would change mid stream.

The pictures are not good enough for me to see the colors. Per the Ford wiring diagrams, the wire colors on one side are R/LG, DB/LB, R/LB. The wire colors on the other coil are R/LG, PK/W, and R/Y.

The R/LG wire is the ignition power. This is were the radio interference capacitor go to.

Try cleaning the wires and post the wire colors.

The wires at the plug are brown\blue, brown\green and red\yelow I believe. I took a guess and hookd them up. Can't remember the order but I know red id the middle. It starts and idles fine so I guess I got it right.
