MAF conversion??

I purchased a 88gt hatch (5spd) from this kid that "already did" the MAF conversion on his stang. Now i own it.....but so far this kid has proven that he couldn't do anything right on this due to poor maintenance,knowledge, and wire works.....my question.

Say if i were to do a MAF converstion a 88gt stang....what must be done? what wires should i look over that this kid may have touched?.....please help!!!!
