Today after work my mustang died a horrible death and is destined for parting out. I stoped in to my friday night cruz in and parked. I was outside our local taco time BSing with a friend. Tire squeels could be heard on the main highway and I looked up to witness an erratic honda shooting across 5 lanes and jumping a curb, going airborn for about ten feet and landing on my car pushing it out of its parking stall and in the process clipping the side of an 06 GT next to me.
Turns out the car belongs to a kid who is in the process of buying it? And the Driver was drunk. From what I gathered the kid picked up the drunk guy(moms boyfriend) from a shopping center and the drunk guy argued because he wanted to drive. An argument turned in to what the kid thought was a fist fight but the drunk jumped in to the drivers seat and took off. Hit the highway and lost control. Neither on has insurance and the jury is out on wether the drunk gets charged with stealing the car. As of now its just a DUI and no insurance ticket. In a state with mandatory insurance laws the justice in all this is pretty bitter.
