hey there, I don't know if I'm posting in the right thread or not. I need some advice. So here's what happened.

I have a '67 coup, I just changed the alternator and the fuel pump and now it won't start. I'm pretty sure it's not the alternator but I could be wrong. I'm frustrated and out of ideas. Please help.

Was it running before you made these changes?
Was your old pump working at all?
Do you know if your new pump is actually pumping fuel?

Begin with Shems advice. You could also look in the carb and pump the pedal to see if your getting any fuel. If it still doesn't start but you know you are getting fuel then look at electrical.
With your key in the on position, take a volt reading at the positive side of your coil - you should be getting 12v there
-- If you get volts at the coil then pull at plug wire and check for good strong spark while cranking
-- If no volts at the coil then check at the solenoid for power to the ignition system
Let us know how this turns out and we can go from there.
