I got it back a few days ago and after performing well it got stuck in first dear in D. I drove it back to the shop using 1, 2 on the shifter. They returned it the next day saying it's all better now. Sticky valve. I asked what they did. They said they did nothing. Having cooled overnight the valved freed up.

Then...

Took it out for a drive today. Drove great. Good shifts. Lot's of power (no slipping) Noticed smoke behind me. Pulled over and saw fluid coming out at a quite a clip (puking hemorrhaging) from behind the bell housing.

It only leaks when it's running. Drove it up ramps to take a look. Pan bolts are tight. cleaned everything to see where its coming from. Looks like the main seal...

Got it off the ramps. Then it no longer registered fluid on the dipstick and no longer goes into gear.

So Should i buy fluid and fill it to drive it back to the shop, or have it towed there? Either way on the shop's dime. It's in my garage now.

What do you think they messed up? And where do I go from here?
