I have a cobra intake, stock everything else. These sound nice for me (and my budget :) )

I've heard that they are decent heads, but designed strictly for mild street builds. IIRC, they have "soft" valve springs that don't handle revving much past 5500, and the spring perch is machined so that swapping to better/bigger springs wouldn't be easy or cheap. I can't quote dyno numbers, but you can see from the flow numbers that they flow just a little bit less than TFS 170s.

On a side note, I always find it funny when cylinder head manufacturers quote flow numbers for their assembled heads at higher valve lift than what the included valve springs can handle. I suppose you could always change the valve springs and run a bigger cam, but for assembled heads it is kind of misleading.

I had planned on doing a mild street build, something to compliment my Cobra intake. So a Cam thats not too aggressive, and heads to match up well with the intake. I'm going to have 3.55's installed soon, so with a mild head/cam upgrade over the winter it should move pretty well.

I wonder if i should spend the extra 3-400 beans and just go Trick Flow.

A good head for the money. Run your cobra intake, tfs stage 1 cam, and these heads should be at least 300rwhp. If you have the money the afr165 or 170 trickflow would be better. But nothing wrong with these if you on a tight budget.

I run a cobra intake,afr165s,and tfs stage1 car was 326rwhp and about same rwtq a good improvement over stock and very streetable. Then added s-trim blower 454rwhp and still very streetable.
