Padded Cargo panels

How rare are the fastback cargo panels that accept a pad or door panel-like insert?
I've got a pair of them kicking around and have yet to see another pair in the many of cars I've parted out.

my 78 mach and my king have a removable 6" x 6" panel on both sides near the rear. very close to where the rear trim panel that covers the tail lights meets the side panels. i had a set of speakers in the ones on the mach.

i have only owned 78's so i am not sure if they are on all of the II's.

No, not that panel. I think every cargo panel has that little access panel tward the rear of the cargo panel. It's actually a padded insert that is right next to the rear seat passenger. It's fitted into the cargo panel itself.

I've never seen them before... must be fairly rare. Could it be a one year only option?

If i remember right, they were pulled from a '76 or '77 V8 car. I didn't even think to check the part number. Stuffed them up in the attic in the shop. Got a car on the lift right now, so I won't be able to crawl up there to check till I get it done.

Finally rememberd to get the part numbers of these inner panels. Here they are-

The black one reads as follows-
D4ZB-6931070-AW
NAP 74-107-RH
MADE IN CANADA

The blue one reads-
D4ZB-6931071-AWA
NAP 74-108-LH
MADE IN CANADA

I suppose it possible that it could be an option of the Canidan only cars or ??? THis is the only set I've ever seen myself. It's possible I pulled them from a '75 too. I have yet to part out a '74, but that doens't mean these weren't pulled from a '74 and put into another newer year.

So..... Does ANYONE know anything about these unusual panels???
