Power window problems. PLEASE HELP.

ok here's the deal. I have an 88 convertible with power windows. The rear windows go down, but then won't go back up. I have taken off the moters and they sin in both directions fine, but when I put them back on the windows won't go up even an inch. Any help would be much appreciated. I don't want to look like an idiot driving around with my top down, but rear still up. Thanx.

Sounds to me like it could be a track alignment problem. Like the window gets cocked in the track on it's way back up and gets hung up. I'm not sure how they are on the convertable rears though.
